Wall Street ended higher on Friday with the Dow closing at a record high after investors welcomed Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s remarks at Jackson Hole.

Both Wall Street and the White House will be paying close attention to Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s high-profile speech Friday at the Fed’s annual economic symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Powell is set to deliver what almost certainly will be his last keynote address at the central bank's annual conclave.
