A plan to add toll lanes along Georgia 400 in Fulton and Forsyth counties is getting a big boost from the federal government.

A TLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - President Donald Trump’s administration announced Tuesday a $3.89 public-private partnership loan to add new lanes along a 16-mile section of Georgia 400.

It’s the most expensive project the state has ever pursued, but because of the unique private-public partnership, it will have limited impact on taxpayers.
