The Athletic's Fred Katz reported Wednesday night that the Rockets' Kevin Durant trade with the Suns could become a seven-team party. The five other teams reported to be involved are the Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves

Houston won’t formally acquire Kevin Durant and Clint Capela until this weekend, and The Athletic says the deal may involve an NBA-record seven teams.

These Jalen Green trades could have been helpful for the Rockets had they whiffed on their trade pursuit of Kevin Durant.
