The senator from Texas has accused fans at the music festival of being "antisemitic zealots" after being led in chants about the Israel Defense Forces.

Glastonbury bosses have said they are "appalled" by comments made by rap duo Bob Vylan during their performance at the festival Saturday.

The Glastonbury Festival’s official response to chants of “Death to the IDF” and “From the river to the sea” from the stage this weekend was slammed Sunday by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, with the Jewish advocacy group’s CEO calling the statement “bland,” “cowardice” and “complicity.”
