David Aldridge and Josh Robbins look at the six potential scenarios the Wizards could encounter after the lottery drawing in Chicago.

Some Wizards fans may be feeling a sense of deja vu with the result. Fourteen years ago, Washington had a shot at a highly touted Duke prospect heading into the lottery but also ended up with the 6th and 18th picks. That Duke alum was Kyrie Irving, the prize of the 2011 NBA Draft.

Washington went in with a 14 percent chance at No. 1, tied for the best odds. Instead, the Mavericks (1.8 percent chance) will have the first chance at Duke’s Cooper Flagg.
