The Seattle Seahawks are concluding the 2025 NFL preseason against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Saturday afternoon. Seattle is 1-0-1 this summer, while Green Bay is 1-1, with a loss to the New York Jets and a win over the Indianapolis Colts.

It was a toasty day around Western Washington as afternoon highs approached records today. Sea-Tac was just a couple of degrees shy of the record. Olympia hit 93 today, which is a new record high for this date.

A somewhat rare extreme heat warning is posted for the Seattle area through early Tuesday due to sweltering temperatures and elevated overnight lows. Multiple heat alerts are in effect elsewhere in western Washington to account for widespread highs in the mid 80s to mid 90s.
