Leonard was 7-for-12 for 64 yards without a touchdown or interception in Saturday's preseason loss to Green Bay. He also had two carries for 10 yards. Leonard wasn't overly impressive but improved after throwing an ugly interception in his first preseason game.

Riley Leonard, who made the move from South Bend to Indianapolis when the Indianapolis Colts drafted him, has impressed observers, such as the "Locked On Colts " podcast.
As the Colts took over possession, one announcer began to announce Riley Leonard as the quarterback entering the game for Indianapolis. Bean however took over, leading to the announcer unintentionally using a racial slur to refer to Bean.
