The fallout continues from Gianluigi Donnarumma’s collision with Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala during Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 win in the Club World Cup on Saturday. The goalkeeper, who was widely criticized for his actions after the hit, seems upset about the implication that he did anything with intent.

Donnarumma was the subject of harsh criticism and was held responsible for the horrific fractured fibula and ankle injury Musiala suffered during the Club World Cup quarter-final. The PSG boss clarified that the goalkeeper was "even more upset at the time" the incident took place,

Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer slammed Donnarumma in the aftermath. The Italian’s attempt to smother the ball did not sit well with Neuer, who accused his opposite number of taking “the risk of injuring his opponent” in an interview with Sky Sports Germany.
