Air Canada to resume flights

Canada's government stepped in four times to aid seven companies last year, stopping strikes using an obscure Labour Code provision. A similar decree on Sunday failed, however, as Air Canada's flight attendants refused to obey and stayed on strike for three days.
Underscoring that the bureaucracy is fully aware of the fact that it has sold out the flight attendants, it is denying them the right to vote on the portion of the agreement related to pre-flight pay—and all other aspects of the agreement—other than the wage schedule.
