There is no evidence of a shooter at the University of South Carolina’s campus library, a school spokesperson said Sunday, after a schoolwide alert about a shooter who had been reported to be on the Columbia campus.

The University of South Carolina issued an alert Sunday about a possible shooter near the campus library, later saying no evidence of a threat was found though police continue to search.

A shooter had been reported at the campus library Sunday evening. Two students suffered minor injuries while evacuating.
