Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser said in a statement that the Trump administration is trying to “strong-arm” states into assisting with federal immigration enforcement.

Colorado has joined 16 other states to sue the Trump administration for not releasing billions of dollars that Congress approved to build charging stations for electric vehicles.

Washington and 19 other states sued the Trump administration Tuesday, claiming it illegally conditioned billions of dollars in federal funding on immigration enforcement.
