One day after brother Erik's failed bid for parole, Lyle Menendez will go before the parole commissioners to attempt to get a successful parole hearing.

Lyle Menendez was denied parole Friday, a day after his younger brother Erik received the same recommendation by a California state board.

"Two things can be true. They can love and forgive you, and you can still be found unsuitable for parole," commissioner Robert Barton said.
