Duncan Robinson's time with the Miami Heat has come to an end after seven seasons. Per ESPN's Shams Charania, the sharpshooter signed a three-year, $48 million deal with the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. According to Charania, the deal is a sign-and-trade that sends Simone Fontecchio to Miami.

The Duncan Robinson era with the Miami Heat formally came to a close, with the 3-point specialist moving on to the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday in NBA free agency.

With Robinson agreeing to a three-year contract worth $48 million to join the Pistons, Detroit is sending forward Simone Fontecchio to the Heat to complete the transaction. Fontecchio is the only piece going to the Heat as part of the sign-and-trade.
