In the US, there are several store pages up for the console already on the official Asus website and retailers like Best Buy. A couple of retailers in the UK already have listing pages live, too, or allow you to register your interest ahead of the pre-order date.

At gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Microsoft announced that the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld consoles will launch on October 16, 2025. What remains missing is the US pricing, which has delayed the start of pre-orders.

Microsoft also has a handheld compatibility program to showcase which games run well on the new Xbox Ally devices.
