Players using the Roblox game creation system will soon have to pay to add the popular 'oof' death sound effect into their games.

Tallarico and Roblox seemed to work something out, as in 2020 it was revealed that the "oof" sound would be replaced but with the iconic version still licensable for $1 or 100 robux.

While the sound is coming offline at the end of November, gamer-makers will be able to purchase it for around 75p. Anyone on Roblox just to play will not be charged.
