Microsoft heard you like tabs, so it decided to put tabs into File Explorer tabs so you can tab while you tab. A future update will let you switch between recent, favorites, and shared files.

San Francisco, March 10 (IANS) Tech giant Microsoft has reportedly started testing tabs in File Explorer on Windows 11.

Now, when you tick the “Restore previous folder windows at logon” option in File Explorer’s settings, it will remember all your opened tabs and restore them when you log back into Windows.
