Roblox co-founder and CEO Dave Baszucki insisted his company is vigilant in protecting users. But his "first message" to parents is "if you're not comfortable, don't let your kids be on Roblox".

“What Roblox represents as a safe, appropriate space for children is, in fact, a digital and real-life nightmare for kids,” the lawsuit, filed by Dolman Law Group, stated.

The lawsuits allege that Roblox prioritized its profits over child safety. The gaming platform rebuts claims it would intentionally risk the safety of its users.

Common Sense Media is sounding the alarm about Roblox, saying kids can easily stumble onto inappropriate content on the popular gaming platform.

“Despite being primarily a children’s game, Roblox has evolved into a sort of emergent civic theatre for kids online,” argues Taylor Lorenz.
