Valve's Index Controllers have the potential to be a huge leap forward for motion-tracked controls and virtual reality, but it'll take patience—and a lot more developer support.

TG0 is taking its first VR controllers, etee, to Kickstarter with the aim of challenging the Valve Index at its own game: full-finger touch controls.

HTC isn't making the Valve Index, to be clear. Vive still exists, and Valve Index will exist alongside it. But you can mix and match Vive and Valve Index hardware, both of which use Steam VR.
