Game engine giant Unity Technologies has announced that its suite of mobile game development tools will be made available completely free of charge to indie devs.

Unity Technologies has raised more than $1.3 billion in an initial public offering (IPO) at a $13.6 billion valuation. That's a rare event in games.

Looking ahead, Unity forecasted revenue for FY 2023 will generate revenue of $1.76 billion to $1.8 billion, a 2% to 4% decline year-on-year.

Looking ahead, Unity forecasts full-year revenues for 2022 to fall between $1.4 billion and $1.5 billion, equating to 34% to 36% year-over-year growth.
