The Showtime Anytime app shut down on Dec. 14, 2023. “You can stream Paramount+ with Showtime content on the DirecTV app.

Before SHOWTIME content was added to the Paramount+ ad-free tier, it lived on its own on-demand app. As things stand, however, there is no plan to bring back the standalone SHOWTIME app.

The new app will be available for $11.99 a month, up from its previous cost of $9.99 a month. Paramount+ will still offer its Essential tier, which will exclude Showtime.
