AI algorithm, named DeepCubeA, has solved a Rubik's Cube in a fraction of a second without having any specific knowledge of the domain or in-game coaching from humans.

Is there a Rubik's Cube algorithm? According to the Rubik's Cube website, there are a few different ways to solve a Cube. But as far as there being one specific algorithm, it's more complex than that.

A similar robot was able to solve the Rubik's cube last year. In that case, the researchers had to randomize parameters by hand-picking permutations they thought would lead to a better algorithm.
