The popular online gaming platform Roblox rolled out new rules this week specifically for its teenage audience.

Roblox will scan video selfies of teens to assess their ages as part of a new Trusted Connections feature that gives users access to unfiltered chatting with people they know.

It's not just porn sites and UK Reddit that are introducing facial scan/government ID-based age verification. Roblox, the online game creation platform popular among minors, is also doing it.
