Shapic2 says the port is mostly a proof-of-concept for getting Konami's official assets into Roblox's engine and not meant to be an actual recreation of Silent Hill 2 in its entirety.

The team behind indie hit Peak would rather its community pirate its own game, than play a "microtransaction-riddled" ripoff that has appeared on Roblox.
