The new testing sites will use self-swab tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists. Testing is open to all adults 18 years of age or older, regardless if the person is showing symptoms, the chain said.

The expansion is part of Rite-Aid's partnership with the department of health and human services. Children four and older are now able to be signed up to get no-charge COVID-19 self-swab nasal tests.
