Mojang recently released two new capes for Minecraft. These are inspired by the upcoming feature film, A Minecraft Movie. As the film premieres on April 4, 2025, Mojang and Warner Bros.

In the first Minecraft Live of 2025, Mojang announced Vibrant Visuals for both Bedrock and Java Edition.

Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.7 brings a new painting and music disc to the game. It also fixes many bugs and improves how the game runs on some devices.
