Life in the Spirit Seminars, for the Odhran Pastoral Area and surrounding parishes, start on Tuesday, September 16, and run for seven consecutive Tuesdays.

The church waits in prayer, because the Spirit teaches her how to pray. We can only wait and only know how to pray through the guidance and with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Perhaps the Holy Spirit is again at work in the church and world, nudging, inspiring, calling us to again reconceive what professed religious life might look like.

The revivals initiated by Wesley recaptured something of that early Pentecostal moment, including 'baptism in the Holy spirit', and what became known as the Holiness movement.
