The March 2020 update to Microsoft's wildly popular Python extension for Visual Studio Code focused on improving quality via bug fixes, but it did introduce a new debugger.

Python for VS Code comes with the Python extension in the editor's marketplace, which has been installed a whopping 26.6 million times, making it the most popular tool in the marketplace by far.

There are also a total of 66 fixes in this update to the Python extension for VS Code. Microsoft also highlighted that the Python debugger supports the Jump to Cursor feature.
