A nine feet long python snake was on Friday speared to death at Kongelai area in West Pokot County by bitter residents following fears that it could have swallowed a goat.

A 4-meter python, which had just swallowed a large goat, was captured by a Civil Defence Force team in Kampung Poko Setol, Baling, on Thursday (Oct 31).
