Open Outlook, click on File > Open & export > Import/Export. The Import and Export Wizard will now open; select Import an iCalender (.ics) or vCalender File (.vcs) and click Next.

The manual says that only .ics or .vcs calendar files are accepted. Outlook can import both of these file types, but I am unable to export my calendar as these types.
