On your iPad, sign into the Microsoft cloud service app you uploaded the spreadsheet to on your laptop or desktop computer. Locate the spreadsheet you want and open it using Excel for iPad.

Microsoft 365 is the de facto option. But if you just need to open, edit, and create basic documents, you don’t have to spend anything.

Microsoft says that Word for Windows will soon enable autosave and automatically save all new documents to the cloud by default.

Excel gets containerized, cloud-based Python analytics and visualization powers Visualization and analytics tools available in preview, but may be paywalled.
