Minecraft Java has a security risk that could put users’ computer’s at risk. Microsoft alerted users of the issue on Friday and said that players should update their game as soon as possible.

The exploit is currently known to affect versions 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 of the mod management system Forge, thanks to a security gap in the Java code it consists of.

A new exploit dubbed "Log4Shell" affects everything from Apple devices to applications and games like Minecraft.
