Microsoft gives Edge an AI advantage over Chrome with on-device AI for web apps and more New AI features and business tools announced at Build 2025 to enhance developer and enterprise productivity.

Microsoft quietly rolled out its Connected Experiences feature last month that allows it's AI tool to access user's data to provide design, grammar and editing suggestions.

The latest claims stem from an X post by @nixCraft, who accuses Microsoft of turning on an opt-out feature that automatically scrapes Word and Excel documents for AI training.
