It’s with that in mind that computer scientist Ramsey Nasser has built قلب (pronounced “Alb,” lit. “heart”), a fully-functional programming language based on Arabic script.

This summer, they will participate in the Spark program, CLS’ new online intensive language learning program designed for beginners in Arabic, Chinese and Russian.
