A California man has been arrested for abducting a 10-year-old child he reportedly met on social media apps Roblox and Discord, authorities said Wednesday.

Encouraged, he said, by his online community — other Roblox users. Matthew Naval: “She told me she was 18 turning 19.” 17’s Jenny Huh: “So, when did you discover she was 10 years old?” ...

The two met on Roblox, the online video game platform. Specifically, Naval said, on the game Mic Up — a voice chatting feature. There’s also a version of it for those 17 and up.
