Risking the wrath of recalcitrant developers, Microsoft is changing the icon scheme for its Visual Studio Code editor.

Developers -- predictably -- are revolting against the new icons introduced by Microsoft for Visual Studio Code, the open source, cross-platform little cousin to the Visual Studio IDE.

Microsoft has highlighted the UI changes coming to Visual Studio 2022, including new iconography, fonts, improvement to dark theme, color contrast adjustments, accent color modifications, and more.

When the installation finishes, you should see a Docker icon in the left navigation — click that icon to reveal Docker is ready to be added to your Visual Studio Code workflow.
