The Screen-off Fingerprint Unlock feature was mysteriously removed from Android 16 Beta 4, but here's how to enable it on your Pixel phone.

The recent Android 16 Beta 3 (and Beta 3.1) release updates a feature limited to the Pixel 9 and allows all devices from the Pixel 6 and newer to use fingerprint unlock while the screen is off.

Google has added a new option in Android 16 that allows the fingerprint sensor to be used when the screen is fully off on Pixel 9.
