If you prefer the comfort of a controller or want to take a break from the mouse and keyboard, here's how you can use your Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons on a PC.

Set the TV Input: Turn on your PC and TV, and set the TV to the correct HDMI input. Check Display Settings: Right-click on your Windows desktop and select 'Display Settings'.

Power on the Steam Deck and it should automatically detect and output the video signal. Switch your input on the TV or monitor to the correct HDMI input to see your Steam Deck's display.

After switching to the correct HDMI input, the Switch 2 home menu should appear, allowing you to enjoy games on your TV.

Xbox controllers can now flip TV input to your console — helpful if you want to watch shows during downloads.
