I've only used Gparted two or three times and that was years ago. It can dynamicallly resize any of the partitions without affecting OS functioning afterwards? It's got a lot of documentation ...
Gparted seems to be able to shrink Windows, move the ~600 GB recovery partition over, but then it can't expand the big HFS+ partition that comprises my main partition.
