Like most apps for Android Auto, this one requires no setup. However, you'll want to follow these steps if you don't yet have Waze on your phone or if you do, but it's not showing up in Android Auto.

Open Android Auto on your phone, tap Customize launcher, and make sure Waze isn't hidden. Open the app and go to menu > View profile > Home and work to add those addresses.
