Change the text in the "output.write" line to what you want the text to say. Save your project. When you run your Java program, it will create a text file you can open in Notepad.

In Notepad, this will appear as white space, but your computer will read it as a "tab" character:Bob Jones 32 Repeat for each entry. Save the file.

That’s pretty much it. You can start working with a Notepad file, and Notepad AutoSave will keep monitoring it for changes. The program will automatically save the content at regular intervals.

Click OK, and then close Notepad. Now restart Notepad and click File, Page Setup again. In Windows 98 and 2000, your header and footer values will still be the ones you set.
