Xbox Game Pass is adding a new feature that allows players to stream games they own to PC, even if that game only came out on consoles.

What's new is that now—should you be one of those "Xbox Insiders in the PC Gaming Preview who are also Game Pass Ultimate members"—you can stream non-Game Pass console games that you own.

If you constantly feel the need to switch tabs to see if a Steam game is already included in your Game Pass subscription, well, now you don't.

With Microsoft's Xbox app for PC, you can now stream over 250 games beyond the Game Pass library as long as you own them directly.

A new beta update makes it easier to stream purchased console games to PC, including titles that are not available on Game Pass or have never been released on the platform.
