Splitting your drive into multiple partitions has its uses, but it's a good idea to take some extra care before doing it.
Microsoft is finally removing the FAT32 partition size limit in Windows 11: FAT32 upgrades from 32GB limit, to 2TB in new Windows 11 builds.
To shrink a volume in Windows 11, open the Disk Management app and select the partition you want to shrink. Now, right-click on that partition and select Shrink Volume.
