Realms stay online for 24 hours, so players can join one at any time they please after being sent an invite. Realms are available on every platform including Windows, PS4, and Android.

Once your Realm is created, you can invite friends by their Minecraft usernames. They’ll receive an invitation, allowing them to join at any time, even if you’re offline.

Realms are also an option for Minecraft PE, Bedrock, and Java players to join their friends. This must occur through an invite; if the host doesn't request the player to join, it's not available.
