Using the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), you can launch Linux applications directly in a Windows 10 command prompt or PowerShell prompt.

Use the PnPUtil.ex tool to install, update, delete Drivers using the Command Prompt (Admin) in Windows 11/10. Drvload, works only in Windows PE.

The good old command prompt is still handy, and it's more robust and customizable in Windows 10.

If you're already using the Unix-like Cygwin, it's an easy hack to embed Cygwin's commands into your standard Windows comand prompt; if not, it might be worth checking out the free download.
