In this article, you’ll learn how to use Format Painter with cells. Then, we’ll move on to using Format Painter to quickly format entire rows and columns.
Launch Excel. Open the Excel worksheet you want to format. Click the "Page Layout" tab. Click the "Themes" icon. Select and click a theme from the list. Click inside the cell you want to format.
Then, select Unhide and Excel will expose the hidden row or column. In Excel 2003, use the Name Box to select cell A1. Then, choose Row or Column from the Format menu, and select Unhide.
