Save as Macro-Enabled Workbook Select "File" and "Close and Return to Microsoft Excel" after you create your macros and associated subroutines.
Warnings If you save the Excel workbook as a standard spreadsheet file, the macro code will not work. Therefore, ensure that you save the workbook as a macro-enabled file type.
Select File, scroll down to locate ‘Save As’ option. Hit the button. Next, select a destination and choose Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook in the Save as type drop-down menu.
