BitLocker recovery key saved my PC after an update locked me out. Here’s how I used the recovery key from my Microsoft account to unlock encrypted drives.

Then re-enable BitLocker via Control Panel > System and Security > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Resume protection. Note: Suspending BitLocker, even temporarily, should be done with caution.

Tick Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM box, and select the Apply and OK buttons to save the changes. After the process is completed, reboot the device, and then set up BitLocker encryption.
