VNC Connect is a new version that simplifies the process and makes it easy to connect to your Raspberry Pi from outside your network.

Now we need a VNC client on our computer to connect to the server running on the Raspberry Pi. We've used Vinagre which comes installed on Linux Mint and Ubuntu.

Once you have installed the Raspberry Pi VNC software on your Pi mini PC you will also need to install the VNC Viewer on the Windows system you would like to control your Pi from.

The Raspberry Pi project has now launched "Connect", the beta version of a simple remote maintenance service. Access is possible with the web browser.
