How to use BitLocker on Windows 11 Windows 11 has a feature called BitLocker, which encrypts your data to keep it safe from others. Here's how to set it up.
Microsoft began pushing BitLocker with the Windows 11 23H2 update, which made BitLocker the default for new installations on supported systems.
Affecting Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server, the bug prevents your PC from booting into Windows, instead resulting in a blue screen that asks for your BitLocker recovery key.
Though Windows 11 Home edition does not have the BitLocker feature, it comes with Device encryption by default. It encrypts the drive and its volumes with BitLocker.
