Google Maps is partially down this morning with the outage particularly impacting its website and APIs for third-party applications that use Google’s location services.

Google’s nightmare “Web Integrity API” wants a DRM gatekeeper for the web It's just a "proposal," but it's also being prototyped inside Chrome right now.

The reason for this is that the pages are likely not being indexed initially by the Indexing API but by normal Google crawling and indexing efforts.
